Museum of Obsolete Objects

Museum of Obsolete Objects exhibits fading memories of innovative objects that have been rendered obsolete in the last century. It includes ancient objects like the quill, abacus, typewriter, and the less expected like the light bulb and computer mouse. The museum is open 24/7 on YouTube.

F/P/M Feats Per Minute is a stylish bike prototype from a trio of Dutch designers. It spins your favorite records while you pedal.

Lytro

Remember that scene in Blade Runner where Harrison Ford zoomed and focused into a tiny detail in a photograph? Well, the future is here. Lytro Light Field Camera allows you to focus on any part of a photo. Using an array of microlenses, it splits captured light information across multiple pixels, depending on the angle from which they have arrived. Make sure to check out the photo gallery.

AZ Desk

Kids grow so fast, that parents have to spend their savings on objects that unfortunately will only be used for a few months. The AZ Desk transforms into 3 different positions that “grows up” with your child. Co.Design plans to put the desk in next year.

AZ Desk Concept, designed by Guillaume Bouvet.

Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement Address

Steve Jobs shared 3 personal stories about his life. He mentioned that typography is one key success that distinguishes Apple.

You can’t connect the dots looking forward, but it’s easy to connect the dots looking back. Believing that the dots will connect down the road, will give you the confidence in your heart.

RIP Steve Jobs, the man who changed we live and turned an ugly world of technology into something beautiful.
